An antique wooden box made in the early 1900s, during the Edwardian era in Britain.The center of the lid features a charming portrait of a young child, surrounded by delicate floral designs that continue down the sides. These were carefully applied by hand using the traditional art of pyrography (wood burning), in which a heated tool is used to burn designs into the wood.

The interior is lined with understated moss-green fabric. There is some age-related wear, light staining, and minor scratches to the wood, but these do not detract from its overall charm. The box does not come with a key, but opens and closes smoothly.
