British Antique Minton Green Cockatrice Teacup Trio

This Minton Green Cockatrice tea cup trio is a historic piece dating to the early 20th century (circa 1900–1912).

Influenced by Oriental chinoiserie, the mythical cockatrice from Western legend and fantastical flowers are rendered in exquisite detail. The contrast of rich green and delicate gilding lends the table an air of elegance and splendor.

There is age-related crazing on the cup and saucer, yet it retains a beauty that has not faded with time. Welcome this collection into your home and bring a touch of distinction to your elegant tea-time moments.
