1864 British antique John Bennett key-wind pocket watch with open silver face, in good working order
SKU: 202602286132
We would like to introduce a pocket watch from the British watchmaker, John Bennett.
This is a key-wound pocket watch with a sterling silver open-face case from around 1864.
The dial and movement are engraved with John Bennett's name.
John Bennett stopped manufacturing movements in-house relatively early on and began importing Swiss movements, so watches using British-made movements are rare.
The overhaul history is unknown, but the balance wheel swing is good, and it is ticking energetically.
