1904 British antique sterling silver mug 130g Walker and Hall
SKU: 175310405
It will be a cup called a christening cup (baptism cup).
It seems that it was given as a gift for the birth of a child born in a wealthy family such as aristocrats.
This is the work of 1904 UK "Walker and Hall".
Walker and Hall remained a prestigious name until it merged with Mappin and Webb in the 1970s.
The finely hand-carved sculpture with a flower motif is wonderful, and the three round legs are a cute cup.
Two monograms are engraved and it seems to be a gift from a grandmother to a grandchild.
The engraving is clear and the gold plating inside remains clean, making it a beautiful item with little usability.
We hope this lovely silver cup will add some color to your day!
