1901 British Antique Sterling Silver Chatelaine Glasses Case Hilliard and Thomason
SKU: 202403014087
Introducing a British antique sterling silver chatelaine case.
A chatelaine is a piece of jewelry worn by ladies that is worn on their belt and worn around their waist.
Women's clothes at the time did not have pockets, so they carried things like pens and sewing tools with them.
This is a 1901 work by Hilliard & Thomason of Birmingham, England.
The whole piece is decorated with earrings, and the combination of silver and black cloth inside is beautiful.
It's too narrow to fit modern glasses, but I think thin items like scissors or combs will fit.
We hope that this "once in a lifetime opportunity" will be a special encounter for you.
