We present to you an antique British sterling silver cutlery set.
This is a work by William Sansom of Sheffield, England, from 1842.
This is a set of 6 pairs of fruit cutlery, including 6 knives and 6 forks.
The handle as well as the blade are made of sterling silver.
The handle is beautifully decorated with a grape motif and the blade with a flower motif.
There is a unicorn-like emblem engraved in the center of the handle.
It is neatly stored in a luxurious wooden box and is in such beautiful condition that it is hard to believe it was made over 180 years ago.
