We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver vinaigrette.
Vinaigrette is a French word meaning "vinegar," and is the name given to the small containers used to hold flavoring salts.
This is a work by Edwin Jones of Birmingham, England, from 1834.
Both lids are decorated with very intricate details and have different designs.
The interior decoration is also beautiful, the gold plating is still quite strong, and it is in good condition.
The sponge, which appears to be the original, still remains and smells good.
