This is a large pocket watch that is believed to be from around 1900.
There is an engraving of a locomotive on the back, making it appear to be a watch used in railway construction.
The crown is stiff and the power reserve is short.
It is unknown whether it has had an overhaul, but the balance wheel is in good condition and ticks along smoothly.
