This is a work by John Henry Potter of Sheffield, England, circa 1900.
This pot has a round drum-shaped design and is decorated with beautiful carvings.
The base metal is Britannia metal (pewter), but there is little blackening inside and the outside is in beautiful condition with no peeling plating.
