1837 British antique sterling silver card case 63g Gervase Wheeler
SKU: 202411234868
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver card case.
This is a card case that would have been custom-made for an upper-class person at the time.
The surface decoration is so beautiful that no two pieces are alike.
This work was created by Gervase Wheeler in Birmingham, England in 1837.
Both sides are decorated with reliefs featuring acanthus and rose motifs.
One side of the center piece is cartouche-shaped and engraved with a monogram that is believed to be the initials of the first owner.
It is large enough to fit your current business cards without any problems and can hold more than 20 business cards.
Although it is an old item made in 1837, it is in very good condition and shows little signs of use.
We hope that this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one!
