This is a product of James Dixon and Sons in Sheffield, England.
The top half of the glass body is covered in leather, allowing you to see inside through the window.
The lower half is covered with a silver plate cover.
The lid is screw-on and has a cork inside, so it closes tightly and there is no leakage.
