This work was created by Charles Boyton in London, England in 1893.
It is a card tray-sized salva made of pure silver, with a diameter of about 23 cm.
The face of the dial is decorated with intricate engravings, and in the centre is engraved the words "presented in March 1894."
The legs also feature antique-style claw and bowl decorations.
