Vinaigrette is a French word meaning "vinegar," and is the name given to the small containers used to hold flavoring salts.
Made by Hilliard & Thomason of Birmingham, England in 1881.
Both lids are intricately decorated with leaf motifs.
The overall shape is oval, like a flower.
There is a jump ring on the side so that it can be attached to a chain or something similar.
