1906 British antique sterling silver double door card case, 84g, Hilliard & Thomason
SKU: 202501314951
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver card case.
This is a card case that would have been custom-made for an upper-class person at the time.
The surface decoration is so beautiful that no two pieces are alike.
This work was made by Hilliard & Tomason , Birmingham, England in 1906.
Both sides are decorated with intricate plant motifs, and the cartouche is engraved with a monogram that is believed to be the initials of the first owner.
It is a double-opening type and originally would have had pockets and other interior features, but the interior is no longer there.
We hope that this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one!
