1855 British antique sterling silver mug 139g Henry Wilkinson
SKU: 202502074991
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver mug.
This cup is called a christening cup.
It seems that it was given as a birth gift for children born into aristocratic or wealthy families.
Made in 1855 by Henry Wilkinson, Sheffield, England.
There are six cartouches on the sides, two of which are engraved with the date of gift and who gave it to whom, while the remaining four are decorated with pretty little flowers.
The overall shape is beautiful, and the gold plating inside is still intact.
We hope this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you!
