The manufacturer is Johnson Matthey (JM&Co), but during this period several manufacturers produced Yard O' Red pencils.
The pen barrel is a popular hexagonal type, engraved with a fine wave-like pattern.
The rotating part at the end of the pen does not fit snugly, leaving a small gap, but this does not affect the functionality.
