This pipe is called a "mesham pipe" and is made from sepiolite, a type of meerschaum found in Türkiye.
It is said that the porous meerschaum has just the right amount of absorbency, making the tobacco taste milder.
It starts out pure white, but turns a beautiful amber color as you use it, and due to its beautiful shape it is also known as the "Queen of Pipes."
This is an old meerschaum pipe with a man's face design, likely made in Türkiye.
The mouthpiece is made of tortoiseshell-style resin.
There is a small chip near the man's eye, but overall the condition is good. The meerschaum part has slightly discolored to amber.
