We would like to introduce you to vintage British mechanical pencils.

This is a pure silver push pencil made by Johnson Matthey in the UK.
Johnson Matthey manufactured Yard O' Red pencils for many years.
The pen body is a hexagonal type like a pencil.
To replace the refill, rotate the tip of the pen to remove it and then replace the refill by hand.
The lead is advanced by rotating the pen handle.

- Although there is wear from age, there are no noticeable scratches or dents and it is in beautiful condition. - The lead advance mechanism is in good condition.
The pen barrel is hallmarked for pure silver by the UK Assay Office.
- To replace the lead, simply unscrew the tip. - The replacement lead is stored inside the bottom of the pen.

*As this is an old item, there are minor scratches and stains due to aging.
