We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver cigarette case.
Made by IJ Evens & Co., Birmingham, England, 1902.
Both sides are decorated with hand-engraved botanical scroll motifs, and the cartouche on the lid is monogrammed with the initials of the first owner.
It has an unusual mechanism that allows the top lid and the entire container to open in two stages.
It can hold cigarettes up to about 75mm in length.
