1977 Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Sterling Silver Tankard 338g Yorkshire Mint

We are pleased to introduce a vintage British silver tankard.

This piece was created in 1977 by "Yorkshire Mint" in Birmingham, England.
It seems that these were made in a limited edition of 2500 pieces to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom.
This is a large mug called a "tankard" that is mainly used for drinking beer.
The front features a large carving of the British coat of arms, and the sides are marked with the coat of arms of the College of Arms.
Made entirely of pure silver, this cup weighs 338g and has a considerable sense of weight.
A certificate proving it's one of the limited edition items and a newspaper advertisement from the time are included.
