We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver card case.
This work was created by Colen Hewer Cheshire, Birmingham, England in 1905.
The entire piece is decorated with botanical scroll patterns and floral motifs.
The cartouche on the surface is engraved with a monogram that appears to be the initials of the first owner.
It is an envelope-type container with a flap-shaped lid that opens.
The inside is lined with cloth and gold plating to prevent business cards from getting dirty.
It is large enough to fit current business cards without any problems and can hold about 12 business cards.
I hope this "once in a lifetime" encounter will be a special one!
