We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver card case.
This is a work by Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham, England, 1837.
Nathaniel Mills was a master craftsman who specialized in small silver cases such as vinaigrette and card cases.
This card case is beautifully decorated with various carvings of flowers and grapes, as well as pierced holes for openwork detail.
The cartouche is engraved with a monogram that appears to be the initials of the first owner.
It is large enough to fit current business cards without any problems and can hold about 20 business cards.
I hope this "once in a lifetime" encounter will be a special one!
