1950s Swiss Cauny men's wristwatch, 15 jewels, gold-plated case, in good working order

Cauny is a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1927, and this is a men's wristwatch from around the 1950s.
The dial has a unique design with the indexes set on a shield-like base, and the gold-plated case makes it a highly fashionable dress watch.
It is unknown if it has been overhauled, but the balance wheel is in good condition and ticks along smoothly.
