1912 British Antique Sterling Silver Pebble-Shaped Snuff Box, 78g, Walker & Hall

We are pleased to present you with an antique British sterling silver snuff box.

This piece was created in 1912 by Walker & Hall , a prestigious silversmith from Sheffield, England .
The inside is gold plated and it is thought to be a snuff case.
It has the shape of a palm-sized, round pebble, and the lid opens when you squeeze the whole thing.
The entire piece is beautifully carved with a scrolling pattern of flowers and plants.
The gold plating on the inside has discolored and peeled off, but the outside is very beautiful and the lid opens and closes smoothly.
