I would like to introduce an antique pocket watch with Niello decoration.

This watch features a case with a silver base called niello, inlaid with a black alloy material.
The year of manufacture and manufacturer are unknown, but based on the hallmarks on the case and the shape of the movement, it is presumed to be Swiss-made from around the early 20th century.
The intricate geometric patterns created by niello inlay, with their beautiful contrast of silver and jet black, twinkle like stars depending on the light. The black parts are often brittle and peel off, but this piece is in excellent condition with minimal peeling.
The case is slim and lightweight at just 60g, making it easy to slip into the pocket of a modern outfit.
The watch's overhaul history is unknown, but the balance wheel swings smoothly and it ticks away vigorously.
