This is a sterling silver sugar sifter (a pierced spoon for sprinkling sugar) made in 1906 by the British company "Robert Pringle & Sons."
The bowl is gracefully shaped like a shell, with elaborate openwork following the flowing lines of its ribs. The elegant scrollwork relief that rises three-dimensionally on the handle is also beautiful, exuding the charm of old Britain every time you pick it up.
