This sterling silver sugar sifter (an openwork spoon for sprinkling sugar) was made in 1907 by "Josiah Williams & Co" of England.
The bowl, reminiscent of fresh flower petals, features extremely delicate openwork adorned with heart and circular motifs. The elegant scrolls and cartouche reliefs that rise three-dimensionally from the handle convey the dignified traditional beauty of England to this day.
