UK Vintage Royal Crown Derby "Old Avesbury" Cup & Saucer Pair (2)

This is a set of two cups and saucers from "Old Avesbury," a popular series representing the prestigious British manufacturer Royal Crown Derby.

Produced in 1977 and 1978, this collection beautifully features colorful birds of paradise and blooming flowers across its entire surface. The elegant, undulating form and the gold rim add a touch of refined splendor to any table. The slight difference in the dates of the backstamps (an imprint indicating the manufacturing year and kiln) on the reverse side of each piece evokes the unique story of antiques that have come together after many years.
