This antique shoehorn with a sterling silver handle was crafted around 1900 by the venerable British workshop "Crisford & Norris Ltd."
The handle, imbued with the aesthetics of Art Nouveau, features shells, flowing scroll patterns, and delicate flowers, all three-dimensionally rendered through chasing (hand-engraving and embossing) techniques. Its substantial form, comfortable in the hand, and intricate engraving add elegant dignity to your pre-outing moments and entryway.
While the sterling silver handle shows minor scuffs due to age, and the steel shoehorn part has subtle discoloration and plating wear, these can be enjoyed as the character of an item over 120 years old.
