This is an antique sterling silver vesta case (match safe) made in Birmingham, England, in 1904 by Arthur Cook.
The elegant early Edwardian body is meticulously adorned with hand-engraved flowing acanthus scrolls and charming flowers by a skilled craftsman. The central cartouche proudly bears the monogram "RH / 1905," evoking the warm history of it having been gifted as a memento at the time.
It features a striker on the bottom and can stylishly grace your daily life as a pendant, a fob for a pocket watch chain, or a pill case.
