Circa 1900 British Antique Silver-Plated Sugar Shaker, John Sanderson

This silver-plated sugar shaker was crafted around 1900 in Sheffield, England, by the renowned silversmith John Sanderson.

The plump, baluster-shaped body features flowing spiral fluting and three-dimensional repoussé work depicting blooming flowers and scroll patterns, adding deep shadows to the lustrous shine of the silver. The delicate piercing on the lid is equally beautiful, ensuring it commands an overwhelming presence on any table.

The exterior remains in beautiful condition with no noticeable dents or peeling of the plating, while the interior shows natural discoloration commensurate with age. It is an exquisite piece that will add a sophisticated touch to your elegant weekend afternoon tea or dessert time.
