The front of this solid, weighty silver ingot features a “feature hallmark,” prominently displaying hallmarks as the focal design—marks that are usually engraved small. Along with Birmingham’s anchor mark and the lion passant denoting sterling silver, the bottom bears a deeply engraved special portrait of the Queen commemorating Elizabeth II’s Silver Jubilee in 1977, giving it historic significance as a piece from this commemorative year.
Although it shows overall wear and slight darkening on the bottom, it retains its substantial luster and pairs with a thick silver chain, making it a striking centerpiece that adds a bold accent to a simple outfit.
